Now, if you select the first point of the segment you want to export, then press and hold the shift key, go to the last point you want, click with the left mouse button and then, without release the shift key, press the right mouse button.
Click on the option that appear in the popup menu and save the file.

Now you can save the datas needed by
POLAR
software to analize the workout. Due to a different management of GPS data, I cannot give the speed data for the exported point, because GPS files have not this parameter, and is not possible to calculate it.

Corrected a problem with the track over two different days

Now you can find the GAPs inside the track passing a parameter (in seconds). If the TCX Converter find a gap up or equal to the gap specified, automatically change it with the time you specify in a second editbox, so you can compact your track, cancelling time gaps.

Now, if you want to increment the average speed of a track in a real mode (preserving climb, downhill and plain part of the track) you can assign a percentual increment so you can follow the virtual partner better than ever!!!

Add Garmin Communicator control panel!!

After some hours of hard work, I implemented the read/write function Powered by Garmin Communicator. I host the download page on my site, because these functions can run only in server-based applications.

Add import/export of Waypoint from the file.

Now you can export the waypoint from a track and import them into another similar track in the same zone. TCX Converter will check the waypoints and try to find the closest trackpoint, so the waypoints are positioned correctly on the new track. You can also decide how closest you want the search.

Enhanced the waypoint correction function. NOW IS BETTER THAN EVER!!! Thanks to ask me to have the waypoint import/export function ^_^

The function for this button is to change the date of all the point (ie. 2008-03-28) because in some case, other software export GPX er other file format with date "1970-01-01" and if you export a file with this data, for example the Forerunner doesn't accept it.

So you click on change date and then assign avg speed, then save the new file gpx and reload it. Now you have a correct track you can export in TCX.

In my case, I did the following steps:

I installed gpsbabel-1.3.4-beta20070711 from

I modified /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist adding: blacklist garmin_gps at the end of the file.

I create a file /etc/udev/rules.d/51-garmin.rules with content:

SYSFS{idVendor}=="091e", SYSFS{idProduct}=="0003", GROUP="plugdev", MODE="660"

Then I did sudo rmmod garmin_gps and reconnected my EDGE.

At this point the communication was perfect.
